Background
Tim is from the Netherlands (partly grown up in Germany) and has been studying guitar for more than 24 years. He had the privilege of learning from excellent guitar instructors and students from the Conservatorium of Amsterdam, Prins Claus Conservatory in Groningen and Rockacademie in Tilburg.
International teaching experience
Tim used to co-own a guitar school in Hong Kong called ‘Rock Kong’ teaching expat kids from all over the world. Later he worked as a guitar teacher for a local music school in the Netherlands. He also worked as a primary school teacher and has a TEFL degree under his belt for teaching English.
Enjoys teaching Kids & Adults
Tim enjoys teaching kids, adults, beginners and intermediate students. If you are interested in learning your favourite Pop/Rock songs while gaining a solid foundation as a guitarist then Tim is the right teacher for you.
Singer-songwriter
In 2017 Tim released a single called “Comfort Zone” which reached #2 in the local charts. At the moment he’s working on new material in collaboration with Lisbon based songwriters and producers.
